- 2 brown onion, diced
- 1kg beef mince
- 2 garlic clove
- 70g tomato paste
- 800g crushed tomato
- 500g dried spaghetti
- Parmesan cheese to serve

- 1 tsp dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1 tbsp sugar

What you'll need
Oil, dried oregano leaves, red wine, sugar
1. Cook onion and mince
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook onion for 5 minutes or until softened. Add mince. Cook, breaking up with a wooden spoon for 6-8 minutes or until browned.
2. Prepare bolognese sauce
Add tomato paste, tomatoes, oregano, sugar and wine. Bring to the boil. Reduce the heat to low. Simmer, uncovered, for 20 to 30 minutes or until thick. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Cook spaghetti
Meanwhile, cook spaghetti in a large saucepan of boiling water, following packet directions. Drain.
Divide spaghetti among serving bowls. Spoon over sauce. Serve topped with cheese.
